About Michelle
It’s not just about motivation. It’s about the brain.
Michelle Ernster is a keynote speaker, brain health educator, and founder of Brain Health Advantage. She helps individuals and organizations understand that the way people think, feel, and show up each day isn’t just about willpower or discipline—it’s driven by the brain.
What many label as burnout, brain fog, or lack of motivation is often a brain that’s overwhelmed or under-supported. Michelle’s work reframes these challenges and provides a practical path forward.
Her Story
Michelle didn’t always see it this way.
During a difficult season in her life, her energy declined, her focus disappeared, and the drive she had always relied on was gone. At the time, it felt like a loss of motivation. What she later understood—and what neuroscience supports—is that her brain was under prolonged stress.
That realization shifted the trajectory of her career.
With over 17 years in health and wellness, Michelle has worked closely with individuals across the lifespan, helping them improve their physical health. Over time, she recognized a deeper connection: the same daily habits that change the body also strengthen the brain.
Her graduate work in health education, along with her experience with the Alzheimer’s Association, further reinforced how lifestyle factors influence long-term cognitive health—and how many chronic conditions are closely tied to brain health outcomes.
Today, her work brings that understanding into a practical, real-world context.

Michelle speaks to corporate teams, leadership groups, employee resource groups (ERGs), women’s organizations, and community audiences on one central idea:
